Micronetics Receives Order for New Integrated Test Module
Hudson, NH -- February 25, 2002 -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (Nasdaq/NOIZ) announced today it received an order for a new surface mount integrated noise module for a next generation automated test equipment (ATE) RF/Microwave test suite.

Ralph Marrone, VP of Micronetics Test Solutions Group, stated "Testing of 802.11a Wireless Local Area Network chipsets requires a flat, wideband noise source with a frequency range up to 6 GHz. We collaborated with our customer to develop a high performance integrated surface mount noise module in response to this requirement, with increased functionality for our customer's next generation mixed signal tester. The features of this new test module make it ideal for use in a wide range of applications, including built-in test for broadband access, spread spectrum signal simulation, WLL, WLAN and Digital TV." Mr. Marrone went on to say "This release is for engineering and pre-production systems; full production releases are anticipated later this calendar year. Collaborating and partnering with leading edge companies to co-develop products is a key strategy to expand our noise-based test solutions product line."
