FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 4, 2002MICRONETICS INTRODUCES VCO FOR 802.11 WIFI APPLICATIONSSEATTLE, WA -- (BUSINESSWIRE) -- June 4, 2002 -- Micronetics Wireless, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today that Model MW500-1303 is the newest member of the Micronetics VCO Product line. It covers the 802.11 Wireless Lan 5.1-5.8GHz band in one VCO. It is manufactured in a small ½" package and out-performs similar silicon-based VCOs covering the same band with a +3 volt supply. Stuart Bernstein, Vice President of VCO Products, stated "This VCO complements our wide-band Qualcomm-based VCOs. The MW500-1303 responds to the growing market for 802.11 applications. It underscores Micronetics commitment to be a leader in offering wide band high performance VCOs up to 8 GHz."
