FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 10, 2003Micronetics Introduces Three Volt Noise SourcePhiladelphia, PA -- (BUSINESSWIRE) -- June 10, 2003 -- Micronetics, Inc. (NASDAQ/NOIZ) announced today that its Noise Products Group introduced a surface mount three volt Noise Source. The three volt noise source is designed to make it economical and relatively easy for designers to improve product performance through the use of broadband noise. It is available as a drop-in, surface mount module suitable for high volume circuit boards. It has a built-in regulator for stable output for use in portable electronic devices. Pat Robbins, Director of Noise Products, stated, "By designing a three volt noise source and packaging it in a drop-in surface mount package, we have developed a relatively simple way for companies to include an inexpensive built-in test or encryption capability in relatively inexpensive, small electronic devices. Our new three volt noise source dramatically simplifies this process by reducing required voltage and packaging the noise source in a drop-in module." Mr. Robbins continued, "Our strategy is simple. It is to partner with leading edge customers to allow them to take advantage of the benefits of broadband noise at significantly reduced cost, enabling their products to do various functions that before could only be done at either greatly increased cost, engineering design time or size." These three volt noise sources will be on display at the MTT-S Show, at Booth 1011, in Philadelphia, PA, from June 10-13, 2003.
