The broadband SPNT waveguide switches are designed for reliable operation at power levels to 2 kW Peak., 80 W Average. These are robust PIN diode switches with proven field reliability. Proprietary PIN diode architecture minimizes junction temperatures to assure long life under high power conditions. Typical applications include radar ranges, polarity selection, transmit/receive, filter banks, complex high power switch matrixes, blanking, etc. Switches can be optimized for passband performance. Peak and average power handling can be doubled by the use of 3 dB hybrids. Consult factory with specific requirements or custom configuration.
